“Stranger Things” Brings Back This Long-Lost ’80s Snack for a Limited Return

If you’ve been watching “Stranger Things” Season 5, you might have spotted something unexpected hiding among the Demogorgons and emotional trauma: a snack time-travel moment.

And yes, that blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo has now become reality. Nature Valley has officially revived its classic Fudge Chip Peanut Butter Boppers for the first time since 1989, and the nostalgia levels are extremely high.

If Steve Harrington endorses a snack, who are we to argue?

The Boppers are back in honor of the show’s final season, complete with “Stranger Things” themed packaging that looks ready to crack open an interdimensional portal in your pantry.

But before you sprint to the grocery store with your Eggo-loving enthusiasm, there’s a catch. These won’t be sitting on store shelves next to your granola bars. Nature Valley only released them in a special kit, which included four Boppers, a T-shirt, and a recipe card, all for the retro-perfect price of $19.87. (That nod to 1987 is basically the corporate version of a wink, and, of course, it sold out quickly.)

But starting Friday, the company will also be giving away 250 boxes while supplies last.

To score one, you have to head to a website that looks like someone sneezed on their keyboard: sreppob.com. That’s Boppers spelled backwards, nerds!

If you don’t snag a box before they disappear, all hope isn’t lost. Nature Valley plans to drop the official recipe on Monday so you can DIY your Boppers at home. Based on the ingredients, that might be worth trying anyway. These things have a creamy peanut butter center rolled in crisp rice cereal with fudge chips, which is basically the energy bar equivalent of a bear hug.

The Boppers revival is part nostalgia, part marketing genius, and part delightful chaos. It fits perfectly with how “Stranger Things” has always embraced ’80s culture, from the fashion to the mall food court energy we secretly miss.

So, if you’ve been craving a taste of childhood or just want to eat the same snack as a fictional babysitter-turned-battle-hardened monster fighter, now’s your moment. Just be quick. The Upside Down won’t wait, and apparently neither will limited-edition peanut butter snacks.

Millie Bobby Brown Allegedly Accused David Harbour of Bullying

The final season of “Stranger Things” is already an emotional goodbye for fans, but now, behind-the-scenes drama is casting a shadow over the show’s ending.

Reports claim Millie Bobby Brown accused her co-star David Harbour of bullying and harassment during production.

According to insiders, Millie, who has played Eleven since the show’s debut in 2016, allegedly filed a formal complaint before filming began on the final season. The accusations reportedly sparked an internal investigation at Netflix, though the outcome has not been made public.

A source described the situation as serious, saying there were “pages and pages of accusations,” and that the investigation lasted for months.

It’s important to note that the alleged behavior was not sexual in nature. Instead, the claims reportedly centered on bullying and harassment on set. Because of the tension, Millie was said to have a personal representative with her during the shooting of the finale.

David Harbour, who plays her on-screen father figure Jim Hopper, allegedly went through the internal review process but has not commented publicly. Interestingly, his personal life has also made headlines: his estranged wife, singer Lily Allen, reportedly stood by him throughout the investigation, but the couple is now going through a very public and messy split. Lily has accused him of multiple affairs, including one in 2021 with a woman from the costume department of his movie “We Have a Ghost”.

Whether the alleged behind-the-scenes conflict will affect the final season’s rollout is unknown, but fans are already buzzing online. Many say the idea that the show’s heartwarming father-daughter dynamic might have been strained in real life feels like a gut punch.

The Stranger Things cast and Netflix have yet to release official statements, but for now, the story serves as a reminder that even the most beloved shows can have some very real tension when the cameras stop rolling.

“Stranger Things” Confirms What We Feared: Eddie Munson Is Gone for Good

The dream is dead, “Stranger Things” fans – literally.

Creator Matt Duffer has officially crushed the long-running theory that Eddie Munson might somehow make a comeback in the show’s fifth and final season.

In an interview, Duffer confirmed what most of us probably knew deep down but refused to accept: Eddie’s gone for good. “I love that Joe Quinn is toying with people,” Duffer said. “But no, he’s dead. Joe is so busy anyway. He’s shot like five movies since! When’s he got time to come and shoot ‘Stranger Things‘?”

Duffer added,”No, sadly, RIP. He’s fully under that ground.”

It’s a rough blow for fans who fell in love with Eddie’s chaotic energy and heavy metal heart. His heroic Season 4 sendoff shredding Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” in the Upside Down before sacrificing himself, was one of the show’s most unforgettable moments. But ever since, the fandom has been buzzing with conspiracy theories and wishful thinking.

Joseph Quinn, who played Eddie, didn’t exactly help. In mid-2024, he told fans there was a “high chance” of his character returning, fueling months of speculation that maybe, just maybe, the lovable metalhead wasn’t gone forever. Was he messing with us? Or was Duffer playing defense to keep a secret twist under wraps? I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Fans have been flooding social media with heartbreak and memes, mourning Eddie all over again. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “They could’ve at least given us ghost Eddie. Justice for Hawkins’ most misunderstood rock god!”

The countdown is now on for the show’s final chapter. The first four episodes of “Stranger Things” Season 5 will drop November 26th on Netflix.

Long live the Hellfire Club.

The Creators of “Stranger Things” Studied TV’s Best Finales to Craft the Perfect Ending

When it comes to ending a beloved show, the Duffer Brothers aren’t winging it.

The creators of “Stranger Things” have been studying the art of the TV finale, looking to some of the most acclaimed series for inspiration: “Six Feet Under”, “Friday Night Lights”, and “The Sopranos”.

Ross Duffer told Variety that they spent time analyzing what made those endings work so well. “The best ones were very true to themselves,” he said. “The shows that are trying to be super clever, I think that’s where it can go wrong really quickly.”

His brother Matt added that they’ve actually had the end in mind for a long time.

“We knew roughly what the end scene was for years,” he said. “There were elements of it that were discussed for weeks, but the core idea of the ending, we had for a really long time. Anyway, we’re really happy with the way it ended. It’s nerve-racking to put it out. I’m sure people will have opinions!”

While we won’t know exactly what elements from those classic finales inspired them until the show’s fifth and final season drops on Netflix this New Year’s Eve, the Duffers did reveal one detail: the final episode will be titled “The Rightside Up” and run about two hours long.

If you’re curious what makes those other finales so memorable, here’s a quick refresher.

“Six Feet Under” gave us a haunting, emotional montage showing how each main character eventually dies. “Friday Night Lights” went a more hopeful route, flashing forward to show where everyone ended up. And then there’s “The Sopranos”, which cut to black mid-scene, leaving viewers to debate Tony Soprano’s fate for nearly two decades.

With “Stranger Things” . . . a show that’s balanced supernatural horror with heartfelt storytelling since day one . . . the bar is sky-high. But if the Duffers’ research pays off, Hawkins might just get an ending as iconic as the Upside Down itself.
